Our Nursery classes are bilingual 50/50 in French and English and they follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Curriculum blended with Jolly Phonics program. The EYFS supports the development, learning, and care of children from birth to five years old.
It sets out the statutory standards that all early year’s providers must meet to ensure that children learn and develop well and are kept healthy and safe.
The EYFS framework covers seven areas of learning and development: communication and language, physical development, personal, social and emotional development, literacy, mathematics, understanding the world, and expressive arts and design. It emphasizes the importance of play-based learning, individualized learning experiences, and partnership with parents and caregivers to support children’s progress and readiness for school.
By the end of Pre- Primary, our students are reading and writing in both English and French and doing simple mathematics enabling them to enter Grade 1 well prepared.
